    The Team

We are one of Wiltshire’s leading independent plumbing and heating companies, also covering the surrounding counties of Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

    • Norman

      Norman

Norman has always been his happiest around water!  He spent 14 years in the Merchant Navy, then went on to work for a company maintaining swimming pools.  In 1990 he ran a plumbing and heating business as a sole trader in Berkshire.  Five years later, he moved to Wiltshire and pursued a change of career in IT.  He founded Plum-IT Services in August 2005.  Although still hands-on in the business, Norman’s primary role is business development and he is the first point of face-to-face contact for anyone requiring a quote.  He assists the team in the management of larger projects and continues to assist when his technical skills are needed.

    • Tom

      Tom

Tom came to us with a wealth of knowledge of oil-fired boilers.  He holds an OFTEC qualification and has an excellent technical brain.  This technical ability has enabled him to develop his knowledge of renewable technologies.  He has a qualification in the installation and servicing of Air Source Heat Pumps and holds Certificates for Unvented Hot Water and Water Regulations.

His background working in the building industry has given him some good skills managing projects for us.

He holds the fastest record for drag racing in the UK when he was 19 but assures us that he will be driving his VW Van within the speed limit around the country lanes of Wiltshire!

    • Alex

      Alex

Alex joined us in April 2022 to look after you, our customers.  Alex is likely to be the first person you will speak to when you call us, and if you visit our office at Harepath Farm in Burbage, you will find her there to assist you.

Alex provides the link between you and our engineers, who are often not contactable as they are out on jobs, so if you need a visit or have any enquiries relating to work you need to be undertaken, then Alex is your first point of contact.

    • Ollie

      Ollie

Ollie has spent 10 years in the plumbing industry working in a variety of environments – a care home, army barracks, a hotel – as well as maintaining all types of domestic plumbing systems.  He had his own business for a time so understands the need to be responsive to customers and takes pride in seeing a job well done.

With a City & Guilds qualification, he has worked on 1st and 2nd fix installations of heating and domestic systems and has experience of installing sanitaryware.

Outside of his work, he is an avid football follower, and plays friendly matches with friends most weeks.  He is a keen motorcyclist and part of a classic bike club.  He has recently become a proud Dad to a baby girl for the first time.

    • Joe

      Joe

Joe first came to work for us to gain work experience and after leaving school, decided to pursue a career in plumbing.  He is currently serving his apprenticeship at Wiltshire College and has become a valuable member of the team supporting our engineers on the four days that he is in the workplace.

He travels to work on his motorbike but soon hopes to be on four wheels when he passes his driving test!
